Staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Food is incredible. Coffee and beverage options are next level. I had the brekky power bowl (pictured) and am now addicted. We sat outside in the cute shaded greenery filled porch with our dogs (who were happily greeted and given pup cups by the staff). Could not recommend this place enough!

Stopped by for a quick matcha pick up. It's open seating and they have another line for take out. The parking lot is crowded but they have few designated spots for take out and offer valet as well. The matcha was delicious! I've had Ascension at another location before. I'd recommend the iced drinks over the hot.

The food was ok.. it's the environment. I enjoyed myself in this relaxing and work stimulating atmosphere. The server wasn't annoying. Meaning, he didn't constantly come to me each minute while I was there disturbing my work. When I was ready to order he was on it! And even though it was a packed house, I was still able to concentrate because the noise level wasn't loud. As for the food, it was simply okay. For the price I expected a burst of flavor in each bite. The omelette asked for more seasonings and not to be burnt. Yes, an omelette is burnt when the outside is brown. It was also folded like a taco rather than a burrito. A taco omelette does now exist! It wasn't good though. I didn't finished it! What I did finish was the mimosa! I'll try the food again because of the service and atmosphere.

Came here for a second time on a Saturday morning around 11 AM. I was really craving their coconut Chia seed pudding that I had last time. Parking was very full and there is a valet, but we ended up parking on the street around the corner. Inside was not as full as the parking Strawberry Matcha latte (hot) - very evident Matcha and strawberry flavor. Very nice flavor and presentation. I would definitely recommend this and would get again. Lavender latte (cold) - Evident lavender flavor. Espresso Cruffin - Like a stuffed croissant. Very nice flavor inside. Very light and flakey. A nice small sweet treat. Would recommend. House cured salmon Benedict (no arugula) - Poached easy eggs were cooked perfectly. The caper hollandaise sauce pairs perfectly with the smoked salmon and the tomato helps cut the saltiness of the dish. The toast was quite crispy & stretchy and difficult to cut with the knife IMO. Potatoes were soggy, but very nicely seasoned and had good flavor. I was thoroughly satisfied with this dish. I would recommend and get again. Overall, this place hasn't failed to please. Service is always really great. Food has a unique spin on classics, has good flavors, as well as presentation. The environment and atmosphere is casual, with a slight relaxed and welcoming bohemian feel. I looked forward to trying other things on their menu. I would recommend this place and I would come back.

Horchata latte. Delicious. Cali burrito (on weekend menu), delicious. This came with dipping sauces that were so yummy on the burrito. Only disappointment was that a kid's pancake was $6, only comes with a piece of bacon, might be nice if it came with an egg. Some substitutions were also not available, given the vibe, you'd expect there would be more available meat substitutions. Over all, it's a nice vibe. Our server was attentive, but it was also not super busy. Went on a Saturday morning for breakfast.

Quick trip to Texas and we found this spot within walking distance. When we walked in we were greeted by servers in passing saying we could be seated wherever we liked. We saw a mixture of people working with laptops or seated casually with friends/family. The decor was simple, mixed decor with some feathery touches on lamp shades, simple colors on the walls. My husband decided on the brunch burger added an egg to his meal & a horchata latte. I tried an ascension omelette with ham and veggies, first ordering a strawberry matcha but preferring the horchata latte. The server was happy to swap my drink out and correct my order when it initially came out incorrect. Overall was a good experience, nice brunch spot to stop into with friendly servers, a decent amount of menu options for all tastebuds and dietary needs.
